I love outdoor yoga! In various cities I have lives, I was part of a local community that would come together to do this weekly and the response was nothing but positive. Some of the classes had over 100 people that attended! I really wanted see this happen here in Green Bay and was over the moon when City officials were open to the idea of me teaching a class for all to attend!
A complimentary Vinyasa Yoga Class will be held Tuesday nights 6:30-7:30PM in Downtown Green Bay on CityDeck. This is a basic class for all levels to do. Everyone should bring their own mats/props and dress for the weather.
Mindfully moving through the soft breeze, breathing in the fresh air, and feeling the energy of other self aware practitioners is an experience that makes your just radiate gratitude. It's a time to celebrate life in present and reconnect with what really matters to you. You leave feeling restored! Everyone even remotely curious should come!
My hopes in teaching a free Yoga class is this opportunity will inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and try something new, get their bodies moving, and realize that whomever you are or what your story is- you are enough. No one cares if it is your first time doing yoga, or if you feel like you haven’t perfected downward facing dog …it’s just about showing up and enjoying the moment while doing something good for you.
Tonight was our first class and I had 14 super cool, fun women come and 1 really good looking, very sweet guy-my husband :o) Word on the street is the “Deck” gives people magical balancing powers because multiple people said they had better balance than ever before! I am looking forward to this being a part of my weekly routine. I can’t wait to see what the future brings…
